Darren Neilson is an associate at EBG where he works in the firm's bankruptcy department. Mr. Neilson graduated from Loyola Law School in 2010 and is currently completing a Masters in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University. Mr. Neilson has acted as a Court Ordered mediator in more than 20 litigation matters in small claims court.
Mr. Neilson began his bankruptcy career at EBG as a summer intern after his first year of law school, and then geared his university studies toward bankruptcy related topics. Additionally, Mr. Neilson spent a semester as an extern for the Honorable Barry Russell at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Neilson has strong ties to the Los Angeles community where he devoted a considerable amount of time working at a pro bono bankruptcy clinic.
Prior to law school, Mr. Neilson obtained his Bachelors of Arts in History from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Mr. Neilson has lived overseas and is fluent in Cebuano, one of many languages spoken in the Republic of the Philippines.
